Message from our CEO

Welcome to the 2025 QCOSS Conference!

QCOSS is the peak body for the community services sector. With more than 150,000 employees, this is one of the fastest growing sectors of Queensland’s economy and the biggest employer group in Queensland.

As the peak body, QCOSS represents over 400 members. We are one of the state’s foremost advocacy bodies. Last year, we won billions of dollars for social and affordable housing and homelessness services, and shaped key policy reforms in youth justice, early childhood reform, youth justice policy changes, and cost-of-living relief for low-income families. The highlight of our events calendar, the QCOSS Conference, brings together our community to explore the big issues facing Queensland’s communities.

On the second night of the QCOSS Conference, we celebrate the individuals and organisations who support those Queenslanders doing it tough every day, at our sector’s biggest night of the year: the Queensland Community Impact Awards (QCIA). This fabulous gala ball will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and attended by hundreds of extraordinary individuals from all over the state.

We’d love you to join us as we advance equality, opportunity and wellbeing for every Queenslander.

Aimee, QCOSS
